Autism
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. Individuals with autism may have difficulty with verbal and nonverbal communication, social interactions, and may engage in repetitive behaviors.
Learning Disability
Learning disabilities are neurodevelopmental disorders that affect the brain's ability to process and understand information. They can impact skills such as reading, writing, math, and reasoning, but do not necessarily affect overall intelligence.
Developmental Delay
Developmental delays refer to significant delays in achieving developmental milestones, such as walking, talking, or reaching cognitive, social, or emotional milestones at a slower pace than typically developing children.
ADHD & ADD
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) are neurodevelopmental disorders characterized by difficulties with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ADHD typically includes symptoms of both inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity.
Sensory Processing Disorders
Sensory processing disorders involve difficulties in organizing and responding to information received through the senses. This can result in over or under-sensitivity to sensory stimuli, leading to challenges in daily activities and interactions.
Down Syndrome
Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of an extra chromosome 21. It is associated with intellectual disabilities, characteristic facial features, and may also involve various medical issues such as heart defects and gastrointestinal problems.
Behavioural Problems
Behavioral problems encompass a range of disruptive or challenging behaviors that may interfere with a child's social, academic, or emotional development. These behaviors can include aggression, defiance, tantrums, or difficulty following rules.
Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral Palsy is a group of permanent movement disorders that appear in early childhood. It is caused by abnormal development or damage to the parts of the brain that control movement, balance, and posture. Cerebral Palsy can vary widely in severity and may affect motor skills, coordination, and speech.
